Assassin’s Creed 3: The Tyranny of King Washington Trailer Showcases Eagle Powers

Eagle Strike!

Another day, another Assassin’s Creed video. This one looks at another set of powers you’ll be wielding in the episodic DLC The Tyranny of King Washington – the one where George chooses the Dark Side – for Ubisoft Montreal’s Assassin’s Creed 3.

The Power of the Eagle allows you to leap or “fly” some distance ahead of your usual jump radius. It’s useful for getting to those hard to reach crevices or just when you want to cover ground faster (its use looks a lot like Dishonored’s Blink power).

There’s also the Eagle Strike, which allows you to rush over to enemies and perform an assassination or two in a heartbeat. It’s quite cool and we’re happy to see that each power in the upcoming DLC has both a general use and awesome attack function.

The first episode of the DLC, titled “The Infamy” is already available on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC with the other two episodes to follow shortly.
