The next-gen versions of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag may look sharp, but they won’t be taking advantage of Nvidia’s PC exclusive features. A new video released by the GPU manufacturer revealed all the features, which you could check out above.

Some of the supported features include PCSS Shadow, which creates soft shadows; HBAO+ for creating realistic shadows; and TXAA for correcting temporal aliasing and ensuring a sharper environment and image overall. Keep in mind that you’ll need a fairly powerful Nvidia card to take advantage of these spiffy features.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag launches on October 29th worldwide for PS3 and Xbox 360. The PlayStation 4 version will launch on November 15th/22nd in North America/Europe, while the Xbox One version releases on November 22nd. The PC version will be available on November 19th/22nd in North America/Europe. Stay tuned for our official review of the game this week.
