While Sony was garnering headlines for the reveal of the PlayStation 4, many media outlets received notice that Ubisoft was hosting an event for February 27th. No other information was stated, aside from the fact that it would be centered on Assassin’s Creed.

If this really is about the next Assassin’s Creed game, which would make it Assassin’s Creed 4, then Cram Gaming provided some clues on when and where it could be set.

Given that the event will be held in London, in a building firebombed in World War II. Notes on the website regarding “a guild of tailors” as the connection between the upcoming game and AC3 are also provided.

Finally, by way of rough calculation, each game in the series has been separated from each other by about 200 years. Assassin’s Creed wrapped up during the end of the 12th century; Assassin’s Creed 2 was finished up in the 16th century; and Assassin’s Creed 3 was set during the American Civil War during the end of the 18th century.

It’s a long shot, for sure. Stay tuned for February 27th to know the truth.
