Assassins Creed II will be the Next Free Game on Xbox Live

Microsoft’s Larry Hryb (Major Nelson) has officially confirmed that Assassin’s Creed II will be the next game that becomes available to Xbox Live Gold subscribers via twitter.

Here is the official tweet from Larry Hryb:

“I can confirm that Assassin’s Creed II will be the next free title released in the Xbox “Games With Gold” Program http://mjr.mn/18vu90k”

Those who haven’t played Assassins Creed II yet will finally get a chance to try it out for free on Xbox 360. Assassin’s Creed II is one of the best Assassin’s Creed games in the series with Assassin’s Creed III not as successful.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be available October 29th for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U and for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One once the systems launch this Holiday season.
