Ubisoft has revealed a new video for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, as game director Ashraf Ismail details the open world that players will be able to explore along with the locations and activities within. Check it out above.

Black Flag will have you taking control of Edward Kenway and acting as a no-good pirate, traversing the lands and claiming riches, territory and nubile lasses for yonder self. You’ll have plenty of chance to tussle with naval ships in combat, boarding the vessels and ultimately assassinating everyone on board. Or you could take on a fort and add it to your empire. Maybe even explore underwater for some sunken treasure and punch a few sharks while you’re at it.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag releases on October 29th for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U, with a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release due when both consoles launch, the former on November 15th and the latter on November 22nd. The PC version meanwhile is due out in Q4 2013.
