Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is receiving rave reviews from critics and recently debuted as the number one game across all formats in the UK. All this praise is for the single-player campaign but what about multiplayer? Ubisoft has released a new multiplayer trailer for the same, ahead of the first of several multiplayer events for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. Check it out above.

Multiplayer lead game designer Tim Brown is on hand to explain what’s new, including variable weather conditions and the different modes of play for both free-for-all and team modes like Artifact Assault, which is a CTF variant that has you trying to sneak into an enemy’s base to steal the enemy’s artifact. Information on perks is also provided.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag releases on Xbox One, PS4 and PC later this month in North America and Europe. Check out our review of the game’s single-player campaign here.
