Yo ho ho and a dead shark.

A new story trailer for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag has been released by Ubisoft Montreal, which follows Captain Edward Kenway’s story. It’s not going to solve any mysteries as to his origins but it does look fairly pretty. Check it out above.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag takes place after the events of Assassin’s Creed III but follows the tale of Connor’s grandfather as he sails the high seas as a pirate, plundering from the British and ruling over the Caribbean. The game will see players having a ship to engage in naval combat with, or just probing the depths of the ocean for hidden treasure. You can also capture forts and fight with sharks, if that’s your thing.

The game will release on October 29th in North America and November 1st in Europe for Xbox 360 and PS3, with a PlayStation 4 release on November 15th/29th in North America/Europe respectively. It will also launch with the Xbox One on November 22nd, besides releasing on Wii U and PC on November 19th/22nd.
