When it comes to post-release content for a single player title, you don’t get much better than Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Not only has the game seen a variety of updates to things like bugs and glitches, it has received multiple free new quests, along with not one, but two major expansions to the game’s story. And it looks like Ubisoft isn’t done at all with a new feature that could keep things going for as long as your imagination allows.
AccessTheAnimus, an ongoing site that chronicles the game series has revealed that they were invited to test out an upcoming “community oriented tool.” Now, if you recall, we reported earlier in the year that a story creator mode had been mentioned on the game’s official site but since deleted. Could this be it? Check out the tweets below.
Since none of this is from official sources we have to label this speculation for now, but at the very least it seems something relating to Odyssey will be at E3, as AccessTheAnimus suggests we watch Ubisoft’s E3 Pre-Show. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
E3 is approaching and we can finally mention that we were kindly invited to test an upcoming community oriented tool for #AssassinsCreed Odyssey!

We can’t say much more for now, but we suggest you checking the #UbiE3 Pre-Show for more details! pic.twitter.com/Z7FjoPoqIy
#AssassinsCreed Odyssey to receive a “Story Creator Mode” which further emphasizes on player choice, according to a post by Community Manager @domvgt on the Social Pulse. Apparently, this is what’s the “story mode” option (seen in previous monthly updates video) was likely about pic.twitter.com/hELAqFjrvK
