Assassin’s Creed Odyssey – How To Get The Best Armors, Engravings, and Weapons

Because Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is now a full fledged RPG, there’s a whole lot of loot for you to hunt down and find in the form of weapons and armor. That’s not all, either- there’s also customization for your existing gear in the form of Engravings. There’s so much going on that it can actually be enough to make your head spin. LEGENDARY WEAPONS

Legendary Bows

• Artemis Bow (Required Level 14, 278 DPS): Gain upon killing Legendary Creature in sidequest The Daughter of Artemis
• Herakles Bow (Required Level 44, 1965 DPS): Found in Koinyra Fortress on Thasos Island (north east of the map)
• Fanged Bow (Required Level 34, 1183 DPS): Found in any cave with an Epic Chest
• Achilles Bow (Required Level 21, 533 DPS): Random drop (Mercenary)
• Eros Bow (Required Level 35, 1243 DPS): Found in Andania Mine in Messenia

Heavy Bladed

• Minotaur Labrys (Required Level 40, 1785 DPS): Sure enough, you get this by killing the Minotaur
• Polyphemos Cyclops Bludgeon (Required Level 37, 1567 DPS): In the Cave of the Forgotten Isle, defeat the Cyclops

Daggers

• Dagger of Kronus (Required Level 33, 1294 DPS): Defeat Nyx the Shadow
• Arachnes Stingers (Required Level 34, 1498 DPS): Random loot drop (Mercenary)

Spears

• Achilles Spear (Required Level 31, 1164 DPS): Find in Olynthos Fortress in Makedonia
• Falx Of Olympos (Required Level 27, 926 DPS): Find in Palace of Amphitrite

Swords

• Pandora’s Kopis (Required Level 25, 817 DPS): Slay the Nemean Lion
• Nikolaos Sword (Required Level 20, 564 DPS): You get this automatically as you play through the story
• Xiphos Of Peleus (Required Level 28, 983 DPS): Find in Artemisia Fort
• Prometheus Sika (Required Level 26, 871 DPS): Random drop (Mercenary)

LEGENDARY ARMOR

There are 12 Legendary Armor sets in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, with 5 pieces of Armor per set. Wearing a complete set at a time can grant you bonus abilities and perks:

• Pilgrim Armor Set

ENGRAVINGS

Engravings are like decorations that you apply to your gear, to give them better stats and enhanced properties. You can simply “buy” them from blacksmiths, but those ones aren’t that good. You need to find the Rare Engravings for yourself.

Below is a list of some of the Engravings you can apply. You need to solve specific challenges to be able to find and apply them.

• Poison Damage (Applies to Melee Weapons, Bow, Torso, Waist): Reach Level 8/Reach Level 18
• Warrior Damage (Applies to Melee Weapons, Bows, Head, Torso, Waist, Legs): Reach Level 4/Reach Level 14/Reach Level 24
• All Damage (Applies to Melee Weapons, Bows, Head, Torso, Waist, Legs): Kill 1 Leader/Kill 10 Leaders
• Assassin Damage (Applies to Melee Weapons, Bows, Head, Torso, Waist, Legs): Reach Level 3/Reach Level 13/Reach Level 23
• Hunter Damage (Applies to Melee Weapons, Bows, Head, Torso, Waist, Legs): Reach Level 2/Level 12/Level 22
• Overpower Abilities Damage (Applies to Melee Weapons, Bows, Arms, Waist): Complete Ainigmata Ostraka
• Crit Damage: (Applies to Melee Weapons, Bows, Head, Torso, Arms): Reach Level 11/Level 21
• Damage on Spartan Soldiers (Applies to Melee Weapons, Head, Legs):  Kill 10 Spartan Strategoi
• Damage on Athenian Soldiers (Applies to Melee Weapons, Head, Legs): Kill 10 Athenian Marksman
• Crit Chance (Applies to Bows, Arms, Waist): Reach Level 10/Level 20
• Damage With Bow Charged Shot (Applies to Bows, Torso, Legs): Kill 25 Archers
• Adrenaline Per Hit (Applies to Melee Weapons, Arms, Waist): Complete the Ainigmata Ostraka: Ashes to Ashes
• Fire Damage (Applies to Melee Weapons, Bows, Legs): Reach Level 7/17/27
• Bow Charging Speed (Applies to Bow, Torso, Legs): Kill 3 Enemies in 30 Seconds with a Bow 10 Times
• Damage With Bows on Distant Targets (Applies to Bows, Head, Waist): Kill 25 distant enemies with a bow
• Health (Applies to Arms, Torso, Waist): Reach Level 5/15/25
• Total Armor (Applies to Arms, Torso, Waist): Reach Level 6/16/26
• Headshot Damage (Applies to Bows, Waist): Reach Level 9/19
