Assassin’s Creed Odyssey New Video Is Nearly 1 Hour of Gameplay Footage in 4K

It looks great- but at what cost to the series' identity?

Assassin's Creed Odyssey (14)

Curious to see more of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey in action? The new game is a very interesting proposition- it continues the evolution of the franchise towards being a full blown action RPG, which is great, by the way- but it almost seems to have lost the Assassin’s Creed identity, such as it was at this point, entirely.

In the end, that won’t matter if the game ends up being great (though jilter series fans will wonder why the name of the franchise was slapped on to it to begin with)- and the good news is, the game seems like it is set to deliver on that front. If you don’t believe me, you can check out no less than one hour of gameplay footage for the game for yourself below.

The best part? If you like your graphics looking good, this video is all in 4K. Make sure to set the video to output at that resolution, if that kind of thing is your jam. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey launches on PS4, Xbox One, and PC this October.
