We reported earlier that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, the latest mainline entry from the long-running franchise, could be potentially getting a creator mode of some kind. It seems now it’s official, as the Story Creator Mode has got an official trailer- and it’s available now.
You can see the announcement below. The Story Creator Mode is exactly as it sounds- you can create your own stories and quests. You will use character models and enemies from the main game to create some fun combinations. You’ll also get to craft your own dialogue using the exact same methods the game developers use to input dialogue into the game. Odyssey has had a pretty incredible amount of post-release content, and this is a neat addition. And, theoretically, with this it can go on endlessly.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Story Creator Mode is a free update to all users and is available now.
