Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is roughly a year old this week and the developer is celebrating the same in style. Along with releasing a variety of stats, like over 20 billion enemies killed or a total of 645 million hours of playtime across all players, past Epic Encounters are making a return. Players will have a chance to take down a returning Epic Mercenary or Ship each day for the next five weeks.

These provide increased Orichalcum with each encounter giving 15 for a total of 105 Orichalcum each week instead of the usual 40. You can spend these in Sargon’s shop for a chance at new cosmetics. Once the event is over, Orichalcum earnings will revert to normal.

More importantly, Ubisoft will be winding down support for the title. Its final title update is 1.5.1, going live later this month and focusing on bug fixes. More details will be shared before it releases but don’t expect any major new content additions. After that, it’s a wait to see what the next Assassin’s Creed holds.
