Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s Newest Update Doesn’t Seem To Do A Whole Lot

Another one of those vaunted stability updates.

Ubisoft Quebec has released a new update for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, the newest game in Ubisoft’s flagship franchise that they launched earlier this month to great success. The update comes in at 0.1GB on Xbox One and 0.16GB on PlayStation 4. With a file size that small, you can probably guess what it does.

I’ll tell you anyway: nothing. It does nothing. At least according to the patch notes, which say that this update adds stability to the game, because it wasn’t enough to have stability added to our consoles, apparently. They do note that it fixes issues which caused the game to crash on both systems, which is good to know. Overall, I would assume this whole update is a smaller, behind the scenes one that focuses more on addressing some bugs and glitches than on any big, user facing features.

You can check out the full patch notes, such as they are, for yourself below. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is out now on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Its success has buoyed Ubisoft stock up, so you know it’s doing well.
