So just a little under one hour per GB of space that it takes up on your hard drive.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be a big game. How big? It sounds like just the story will take up to 40 hours to finish, according to PowerPyx. That comes in at just under an hour per GB of storage space the game needs on your hard drive.

It seems like it is possible to get the game completed in under forty hours, since PowerPyx’s time accounts for not skipping through the dialog (an option players have), as well as uncovering the entire map— which, given its sheer size, can’t have been an easy task (apparently it took PowerPyx 5-6 hours to get that done, that’s 12% of their total play time right there).

In my experience, this possibly makes Odyssey the longest game in the series to date— once you add optional activities, and trying to hit the level cap, into account, this number can probably inflate to being 50-60 hours. Which translates to good value for money.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey launches for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 5.
