Assassin’s Creed games always look great- they leverage cutting edge tech, and they have a highly attractive artstyle as well. So it should come as no surprise that Assassin’s Creed Origins looks great as well. However, just how drop dead gorgeous it looks is truly unexpected- but as this 20 minutes of footage of the game running in 4K on an Xbox One X demonstrates, this is one pretty game.

Of course, graphics aside, we also get to see more of the game- and yes, the game does continue to look good. It looks like Ubisoft’s decision to rethink and overhaul the series’ structure and formula has borne fruit.

And it is now clear that if players want to play the best version of this incredible looking game, at least on consoles, they will have to get it for the Xbox One X. Assassin’s Creed Origins releases on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on October 27.
