Find out how much work went into capturing Ancient Egypt.

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed returned at Microsoft’s E3 2017 presser with gameplay footage of Assassin’s Creed Origins debuting at last. It’s obvious that Ubisoft Montreal has put in some serious work to properly capture the setting and a new behind-the-scenes video with UbiBlog’s Chris Watters sees the development team talking about the same.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is set in Ancient Egypt and sees players controlling Bayek, an Egyptian sheriff who takes on the mantle of Assassin. The game will chronicle the beginning of the Brotherhood and features a massive open world to explore. Egypt’s pyramids, for instance, can be scaled and slid down as per your leisure. Ubisoft also classifies this as an action RPG and the revamped combat certainly reflects that.

In development for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, Assassin’s Creed Origins will be releasing on October 27th. What are your thoughts on the game so far? Let us know in the comments.
