Ancient Egypt, Pharaohs, arena combat, civil unrest and much more teased in newest trailer.
Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Origins will be releasing in just a few days, marking the return of the franchise since the release of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate in 2015. It brings several new additions to the table but more than anything, it tells the story of how the Brotherhood of Assassins was formed. Check out the launch trailer below to see what exactly is in store.
Assassin’s Creed Origins takes place in Ancient Egypt during a time of upheaval. Players control Bayek, a Medjay who protects the people and must battle a mysterious group attempting to control all of society. Naturally, this will lead to the war between Assassins and Templars but Assassin’s Creed Origins promises hack and slash combat, action RPG-esque loot and stats, and a more involving world with narrative quests.
Releasing on October 27th for PS4, Xbox One and PC, Assassin’s Creed Origins will also support 4K resolution on the Xbox One X. The Xbox One X update will be available in early November before the launch of the console and will bring longer draw distances among other improvements.
