Templars in New York? We're down with that (we think).

Remember Assassin’s Creed Comet, which was apparently supposed to be the PS3 and Xbox 360 iteration of the franchise to release alongside Assassin’s Creed: Unity which is exclusive to the PC, PS4 and Xbox One? It seems that the game may end up being Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, which has been listed by a Swiss retailer. The listing has been removed but you can find it on Google cache here (with a screenshot above).

The game apparently allows you to play as Shay, a Templar in New York, 1758. You’ll be sailing across the Atlantic Ocean so there’s a very good chance that the ship battles could return. Ubisoft revealed earlier this year that the current gen version of Assassin’s Creed would be announced soon but when that will be remains to be seen.

As for Assassin’s Creed: Unity, it will be out on October 28th worldwide. What are your thoughts on Assassin’s Creed: Rogue? Let us know in the comments.
