Before its appearance at Ubisoft Forward on June 10th, Assassin’s Creed Shadows received a brief new gameplay trailer at the Xbox Games Showcase. It starts with in-engine footage of the environments and some cinematics before quickly highlighting each protagonist and their fighting styles. Check it out below.

As a shinobi, Naoe favors stealth, utilizing parkour to traverse environments and the Hidden Blade to assassinate foes. She also wields a kusarigama for more upfront combat, which slices through bamboo shoots naturally as it arcs through the air. Yasuke is a frontline fighter, effortlessly breaking through doors, kicking enemies into walls, disrupting their guards and brutally executing them. He can even headbutt foes to stun them.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows launches on November 15th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. There will be a 13-minute gameplay walkthrough at Ubisoft Forward, hopefully showcasing the world, its activities and how missions play out. Stay tuned in the meantime and check out our feature for more details.
