Oddly enough, Ubisoft didn’t show any new in-game footage of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate at its E3 2015 media briefing (though a separate gameplay walkthrough came about later). Instead, we were treated to a cinematic trailer which showcased Jacob Frye going about London and shutting down some particularly corrupt individuals. Check it out below.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate follows the story of Jacob and Evie Frye, siblings trained to be Assassins with the former leading the street gang known as the Rooks. The Frye siblings wish to take down the aristocracy that’s popped up during London’s Industrial Revolution and fight for the common man. Though no gameplay was shown, elements such as hijacking horse carriages and using the grappling to get around quickly are actually a part of the game.

Releasing on October 23rd for PS4 and Xbox One, with a Q3/Q4 2015 release on PC, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will only feature a single-player campaign and no multiplayer of any kind. Let us know what you think of the cinematic trailer in the comments.
