Ubisoft’s recently announced Assassin’s Creed: The Americas Collection will be out for PS3 and Xbox 360, essentially collecting Assassin’s Creed III, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed III Liberation HD, but won’t be available on PC.

After a European press release said the game would be out on PC as well, Ubisoft stated to GameSpot that this was an error. As of now, you can only play The Americas Collection on the Xbox 360 and PS3. Lucky you, especially given the quality of two of the three games included. It will be out on October 3rd in the UK and October 28th in North America.

There are other big-name Assassin’s Creed titles due out later this year, namely Assassin’s Creed: Unity and Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, the former releasing exclusively for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One while the latter is out on Xbox 360 and PS3 this November. Are you picking up either? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
