Much has been said about the overall size of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Unity, especially with how Ubisoft will take advantage of the Xbox One and PS4’s power for a larger city. According to producer Lesley Phord-Toy, the city of Paris will be much bigger than the landmass who is a producer on Assassin’s Creed Unity, revealed that the size of Paris in Assassin’s Creed Unity will indeed be larger than that of the landmass in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
“In previous Assassin’s Creed games, we did Rome and a bunch of other cities, they were a bit cheated in terms of scale. In Paris, the monuments are done in 1:1 because you are able to go inside seamlessly with no loading, and so the actual size of Paris is larger than all of the landmass in AC IV: Black Flag,” he said to Examiner.
Black Flag was also about the oceans though so we’ll see just how much larger Unity is when compared to the whole world. Assassin’s Creed Unity releases on October 28th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Will it live up to expectations, unlike Watch Dogs? We’ll find out. In the mean time check out GamingBolt’s own interview for Assassin’s Creed Unity over here.
