Assassin’s Creed: Unity Trailer Unveils Black Box Missions

Take your own approach to assassinations.

Ubisoft has released a new video for Assassin’s Creed: Unity and sees creative director Alex Amancio discussing the Black Box missions in the game. Black Box missions are typically assassination jobs but provide you a number of different routes and approaches to assassinating your target. Check it out above.

There are also mod missions which provide interesting twists depending on conditions fulfilled. For example, if you successfully recover a stolen pair of keys for the church, you can then access the different locked doors throughout. If you some how manage to meet your target in a confessional, you’ll trigger a special assassination. Brotherhood co-op missions are all essentially Black Box missions thus providing a team with numerous pathways and approaches when assassinating a target.

Assassin’s Creed: Unity will release on November 10th in North America and November 13th in Europe for PS4, Xbox One and PC. What are your thoughts on the Black Box missions? Let us know below.
