Ubisoft finally announced a release date for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, at least for current-gen consoles. We also got a brief overview of the open world title, though a more comprehensive gameplay walkthrough is now available. Though similar to last week’s leaked footage, there’s actually quite a bit that’s new here.

We start off with an assault and boss fight with Rued, which leads to Eivor rescuing her comrade and choosing to spare the foe. This segues into a raid on King’s Bury and exploring the large open world. Environmental puzzles, strangers and other interesting sights await.

One thing to note is the mystic boss fight against Regan, one of the Daughters of Lerion. Cordelia is another such boss fight so it seems a given that Goneril, the third daughter, can also be fought. We’ll have to wait for more information in the coming months.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is out on November 17th for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Google Stadia. The Xbox Series X and PS5 versions are still due for this holiday season.
