Today, we got the official reveal of the next game in the Assassin’s Creed series, Valhalla. It was unveiled in maybe the most bizarre way possible with a long livestream of someone making the above art for an 8 hour period. Like all entries in the series, it’s sure to be big. How big? My man, this bad boy is a production like no other with the amount of people on it.

While Ubisoft Montreal is the lead studio on the title, they revealed on their official Twitter that 14 other support studios also worked on the title. Counting Montreal themselves, that means Valhalla has had a total of 15 different studios working on it. It doesn’t say how many people that equates to, but I imagine it’s pushing 1,000 at the very least. Talk about a true AAA production.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will get a reveal trailer tomorrow. As of now there has been no platform announcement, but odds are that it will be a cross-gen release with current and next generation consoles. We’ll keep you updated with information that comes tomorrow.
