By the time Portal 2 was announced millions of players around the world were really excited, because they had tons of fun with the first Portal, they couldn’t wait to see what was in store for them. Portal 2 managed to exceed all expectations and create characters and music that we really fell in love with. Valve decided to hire Mike Morasky, Jonathan Coulton who composed the ending theme: “Want You Gone” and The National which is an indie rock band. The music was dynamic and changed as the player progressed in a test chamber, the music was really was in tune to what Portal 2 stood for.
