Astral Chain’s been out for a couple of weeks now, and its glowing critical reception has translated to solid sales as well. It debuted on top of UK charts, while PlatinumGames themselves are also quite happy with how the game’s been doing. If, however, you’re not one of the people who’ve bought the game so far, this might get you to jump in.

Nintendo have released a new trailer for their newest Switch exclusive. It shows plenty of gameplay footage, showcasing the game’s action-packed combat, while also talking a great deal about the story and some of the game’s most central narrative arcs. Maybe it even reveals a bit too much- watch at your own risk. Or maybe just watch it on mute, because the gameplay being shown off is definitely worth checking out.

In our review of Astral Chain, we praised it for its “enthralling premise, frenetic action, and abundance of content”, while calling it “one of the Switch’s must-own titles.” You can read our full review through here.

Astral Chain is out now, exclusively for the Switch.
