Atlas Fallen

Deck13’s action RPG Atlas Fallen has gone gold, which means principle development has wrapped, and it’s going for certification and disc manufacturing. Of course, there may be a day-one patch addressing any lingering issues, so stay tuned for details.

Atlas Fallen sees the player controlling an Unnamed, who discovers a gauntlet for melding sand into weapons. They embark on a journey through the world to take on the corrupt Thelos and end oppression. From the start, you have three weapons – the Dunecleaver, Sandwhip and Knuckledust, covering different ranges and attack speeds.

However, by building Momentum and equipping Essence Stones, your weapons can transform in combat and trigger unique effects. There are also armor sets for improved stats and upgrades to discover. Co-op supports two players who can freely explore the world together.

Atlas Fallen is out on August 10th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out our interview with the developer here to learn about the difficulty, setting and more.
