Rebellion Development has confirmed that Atomfall, its post-nuclear survival action game, will launch on March 27th, 2025, for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC. It’s also playable on day one for Game Pass. Check out the announcement trailer below.

Set in Windham following the Windscale fire disaster, players control an unknown individual. They happen to a telephone booth and answer a mysterious call telling them to kill Oberon, which you can ignore in favor of exploring and scavenging. Venture to the town, controlled by Protocol and its robots or investigate the B.A.R.D. bunkers for clues.

There are also plenty of threats awaiting outside the town, including cults armed with cricket bats and bows, and mutants. You can gather clues and work out who to trust (with various quests available). Alternatively, it’s also possible to kill everyone. Head here for more details on B.A.R.D. and the areas you’ll explore in and around Windham.
