With Rebellion’s Atomfall out next week, the developer has shared various tips and tricks to help players on their post-Windscale fire journey. The open-world survival title is about investigating leads and clues to escape the quarantine.
Between NPCs with their own agendas, factions like Protocol, and the dangerous B.A.R.D. bunkers, it’s easier said than done. Perhaps the most essential thing players can do is access the Interchange, a mysterious location connected to Oberon. While you can locate characters like Joyce to gain access, you may even happen upon it by helping Alf Buckshaw find some letters.
Of course, there are also some pointers on combat. Ammo is scarce, and reloading a weapon can result in any bullets remaining in the magazine or chambers being wasted. Keep an eye out on traders for various materials and even recipes. And as perilous as the bunkers may be, they’re a source of extensive rewards.
