While Avalanche Studios are mostly known for their open world sandbox Just Cause series, they have actually worked on a lot of different titles throughout the last few years. From RAGE 2 to Mad Max to more small scale projects like Generation Zero or Hunter: Call of the Wild. Now, it seems the company is posed to expand.

In an announcement via their official website, the studio will open a new studio in Liverpool. The initial start up of 5 developers will start this month and then look to immediately hire over 20 more positions. Paul Rustchynsky, formerly of Slightly Mad Studios, also confirmed via his official Twitter he will be among those first 5 with the hopes of expanding the studio to over 50 within the next 5 years.

We know the company has several different projects in development and had recently restructured to accommodate that. It looks to be exciting times for the studio and whatever they have cooking up.
