Exclusive to the PS3 and PS4.
She may not have exactly set the portable scene on fire, or managed to steal the glory from her console counterpart Connor, but Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation star Aveline will be in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
Aveline will be featured in three bonus missions that will be exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Game director Ashraf Ismail stated that these missions will continue Aveline’s story after the conclusion of Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation. He also brought up how Animus makes this all possible – whatever that means.
Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation released for the PlayStation Vita and featured Aveline’s story running parallel to Connor’s. Despite the fact that it had a lukewarm critical and commercial reception, it’s good to see the continuation of Aveline’s journey.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will release at the end of the year for the Xbox One and PS4, but will be coming to PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii on October 29th in North America.
