Ever since Assassins Creed made its debut back in 2007, it has astounded us and left us all amazed with its sheer ingenuity for its gameplay, characters and the way it was executed. Assassins Creed is quite original  in its storyline and it makes learning history really fun. Assassins Creed, for those of you who don’t know takes it’s motivation from the novel Alamut by the Slovenian writer Vladimir Bartol. Granted that over time the series became a little stale, but that doesn’t diminish its value or what it has accomplished in the game industry. The series has sold  over 73 million copies as of April 2014, becoming Ubisoft’s best selling franchise.

Giant Squid in Assassins Creed 4

I was half expecting to find the Kraken in Assassins Creed 4 mainly because I saw it in Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man’s Chest, but was ultimately disappointed when it did not make an appearance. I mean come on…it would have been fun to fish for it. However a giant squid does make an appearance in the game, If the player heads to the Atocha ship-wreck site after completing Sequence 6: Memory, the wrecks become available, you will be able to see the creature floating around underwater.
