Aveline is the first female protagonist in the Assassin’s Creed series

While the Assassins Creed series mostly had male protagonists, Assassin’s Creed Liberation took a different turn and had players introduced to Aveline. Aveline is quite a complex character and was an Assassin of French and African heritage. She lived in the area of New Orleans during the middle of the 18th century. She is an ancestor to Subject 1 and for those of you who are unaware, Subject 1 was the first participant of Abstergo Industries’ experimental phase of the Animus Project.
