The Jackdaw’s crew was composed of mixed races and ethnicities
Edward’s time as the captain of the Jackdaw was a great one, because not only could he lay siege to the fortresses and ships around the Pacific, but he also managed to pick up men that he deemed worthy enough to man the Jackdaw. Some of these men, ranged from various countries around the world and as such, gave Edward insight about the world and how massive it was. Sailors that joined Edward hailed from a variety of places, including Britain, Spain, Italy, Germany, and several countries in Africa, among others.
