Miranda Lawson’s appearance is based off of Yvonne Strahovski, who voices the character, and was intended to be “the perfect woman”.
Yvonne Strahovski is quite a looker, so it’s only natural that Bioware intended to model her face for Miranda. Miranda was sort of a replacement for Ashley in Mass Effect 2 and a romance option for male Shepard. Yvonne does a fantastic job in voicing Miranda, as there are some scenes in the game which really tug at your heart in Mass Effect 2 . Video starts at 1.40
