Spectres are like super cops
When Shepard becomes a Spectre it was a proud moment for the player, only at first we didn’t have a damn idea what a Spectre was and what the job entails. The Spectre is like an intergalactic super cop with no restrictions; they are the sharp end of the stick and can enforce lethal action without any authorization from the top. If you decide to go renegade in Mass Effect, then you will have a ton of fun enforcing the law in some awesome ways. Shepard becomes the first human Spectre in the entire galaxy.
