Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has had a busy year, releasing not one but two Batman games with Arkham Origins and Arkham Origins: Blackgate. That being said, the publisher is looking to end 2013 on a high note. On the official Batman Arkham Facebook page, the publisher is teasing an announcement for the franchise on December 31st, inviting us to “Save the Date”.

There are several possibilities – could it be Rocksteady’s rumoured new Arkham title? Could it be the next DLC pack for Arkham Origins which promises to bring a new story campaign forward? It’ll certainly be interesting to see how the dust clears on this one.

Batman: Arkham Origins was released several months ago and unlike the previous two games, was developer by WB Games Montreal. The game earned decent critical and commercial success. Check out official review here for more information and stay tuned for more updates on just what this new announcement could be.
