File sizes for Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Knight have been revealed across all platforms and as it turns out, the open world action adventure is pretty big. It’s a hefty 45 GB on the PC, Xbox One and PS4 as revealed via Steam, Xbox Live and PlayStation Store. The overall size is interesting when you consider how the most recent open world game to be praised for its scale – The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – weighed in at roughly 25 GB.

Batman: Arkham Knight sees the Dark Knight battling the forces of crime in a rapidly deteriorating Gotham City. Scarecrow has ascended to power and threatens to unleash havoc like never before. If that weren’t enough, a mysterious new player called the Arkham Knight has emerged and challenges Batman at every turn. Fortunately, allies like Catwoman, Robin and Nightwing are present to help out.

Releasing on June 23rd, Batman: Arkham Knight will be coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC. Will you be picking it up? Let us know in the comments.
