Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is raking it in this year.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has had a very successful year despite launch woes associated with two of its biggest names. The Wall Street Journal reported that Batman: Arkham Knight and Mortal Kombat sold more than five million units each since their respective launches. Interestingly, the success of the video game helped offset the movie division’s below average efforts.

LEGO Jurassic World also seemed to hit it big with roughly four million units out there, though whether this is the number shipped or sold wasn’t confirmed.

Batman: Arkham Knight released to critical acclaim on the PS4 and Xbox One but faced severe issues on the PC due to glitches, crashes and graphical bugs. This causes Warner Bros. to pull the PC version from retail for fixing – it’s due to re-release by October end. Then there’s Mortal Kombat X which faced lag and matchmaking issues when it first launched with the PC version bearing the brunt of these issues.

What are your thoughts on the success of both games though? Let us know in the comments below.
