Batman: Arkham Origins Will Feature the Batcave for the First Time

Challenge maps, references and much more to be featured.

New information from GamesTM magazine has confirmed that you’ll no longer be operating out of substitute bases or battling through the streets for sanctuary in Batman: Arkham Origins. No, you’ll finally be able to access the one and only Batcave this time around.

The Batcave will feature the waterfall that masks the mouth of the cave. It will also have many familiar vehicles, along with metallic walkways that lead to different bonus costumes that you can change in between missions. References and nods to other characters in the universe can be seen, especially newspaper clippings of the Red Hood. Best of all, the Challenge Maps are no longer a separate mode – you’ll be able to access them from the Cave itself.

You’ll also be able to practice other abilities and upgrade equipment, or just take the Batwing out and watch it rush through the waterfall. Batman: Arkham Origins is currently set to release worldwide on October 25th for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC.
