Batman Telltale 2

Telltale’s Batman has received its very first trailer today- the world premier trailer gives us our first good look at the upcoming game, which Telltale promises will be an evolution of their standard formula that they have adhered to ever since the first season of The Walking Dead, which they launched all the way back in 2012.

The trailer shows a game that looks largely great, though there is some amount of jank to be noticed here that is typical of Telltale games- clunky animations and some things that seem to hint at an unoptimized engine, although on the other hand, the voice acting and the art style both come off really well.

The first episode of the series is slated to launch on August 2, with the season pass coming a month and a half later on September 13. Batman: The Telltale Series will be launching on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android devices.
