Gearbox Software and 2K Games have announced that Battleborn, the upcoming MOBA/FPS action hybrid, will have its closed technical test starting on October 29th. It will take place on Xbox One, PS4 and PC with an aim to “balance characters, stress servers, squash bugs, and test the online infrastructure.”
The closed technical test will require users to sign up at the official website and be selected based on various criteria. Non-disclosure agreements must be agreed due when taking part including restrictions on images, publicly sharing details online and capturing or streaming gameplay footage. And signing up is no guarantee that you’ll get in.
Bethesda did reveal some of the PC system requirements for the test. PC users will need Windows 7 64-bit, Intel Core 2 Extreme CPU Q6850 or an AMD A8-3870k (Quad Core CPUs), 6 GB of RAM, 10 GB HDD space, an AMD HD 7700 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 (or better) with PhysX support and 2 GB VRAM and DirectX 11 support. The full game is currently slated to release in February 2016 so stay tuned for more details on the closed test.
