Interested in getting into Gearbox's shooter early? Here's how.

Battleborn

Gearbox Software’s MOBA/FPS hybrid Battleborn isn’t out for another six months or so but interested players can RSVP for some upcoming test sessions starting today. Head over to the RSVP site to register (you’ll need a SHiFT account for doing so).

It should be noted that for Gearbox, “participants are selected on a number of criteria based on the needs for testing, including (but not limited) platform preference, location and availability”. So it’s not a guarantee that you’ll get into the technical test but it seems there will be several different sessions planned leading up to the game’s release.

Currently scheduled to release on February 9th 2016, Battleborn is in development for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Unlike the developer’s Borderlands series, Battleborn focuses on co-op first person shooting mixed with a solo campaign and competitive play in the structure of a MOBA with up to 25 playable heroes. What are your thoughts on Battleborn and will you take part in the test sessions? Let us know below.
