Battleborn Cooperative Gameplay Walkthrough Revealed

Welcome one and all to Battleborn, the game you don't want.

Evidently, 2K and Gearbox understand the old mantra that is, “If it’s not broken, don’t try and fix it”.

From the creative and slightly disturbed minds that brought you the sheer insanity that is Borderlands, comes Battleborn. Or Borderlands 2.1 as I’ve taken to call it. Seriously, watch the gameplay. It’s exactly the same as Borderlands, even the HUD looks like it’s simply been copy/pasted. Yes, it may be pre-alpha work in progress footage, but that doesn’t fly in my books.

Anyway, as you’ve come to expect, the gameplay looks tight, frantic if not a bit clustered and colourful. While I do recommend watching the video for the information and admirable demonstration of cooperative gameplay, But perhaps it wasn’t a great idea to give us a look at the game in this early form, I really can’t look at this and say I’m excited. It all looks fun and perfectly serviceable, but there’s nothing that makes me want to play it. And it would seem that the gaming community would agree, the game does look good. But not enticing, which is a shame.

C’mon Gearbox, step up your game! Pun intended.
