Battleborn

Gearbox Software released new demo footage from its upcoming multiplayer co-op shooter Battleborn in the wake of E3 2015. The current gen shooter sees 25 different heroes banding together to prevent the collapse of the universe’s last star. This 20 minute gameplay demo showcases what seems to be a campaign mission taking place on Bliss as five Battleborn tackle various angry aliens.

We also get a look at some of the new heroes of Battleborn including Phoebe, a fencer with levitating swords; Caldarius, a close range fighter in power armour; and Orendi, who uses an odd blend of chaos magic, four arms and demented tricks. Various other snippets of gameplay are revealed including infiltration, defense against hordes of enemies and a few mid-boss battles here and there. Keep in mind that the footage showcased isn’t final.

Battleborn is in development for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It will release before April 2016 so stay tuned for more details.
