Battleborn

Battleborn is not the only new Battleborn game launched today- no, in addition to Gearbox Software’s newest shooter for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, 2K Games also launched today Battleborn Tap, which is a free to play game for smartphones where… you tap your way to victory. Huh?

“Grow and customize those heroes by collecting and spending gold shards to upgrade your heroes’ skills and abilities to give your squad the best fighting chance against increasingly difficult waves of enemies. Find and equip gear just like in the console version of Battleborn to help boost your heroes’ stats and make them even more powerful,” 2K Games’ press release on Battleborn Tap reads.

The game is now available to download on the iOS App Store, and Google Play for Android. Apparently, it will also link with the console Battleborn game, and unlock some exclusive rewards for you there, though what these might be was not specified.
