Gearbox Software’s Battleborn has been available for only a few days but it’s already received a new update through the developer’s Shift system. The update allows players to either re-watch the animated opening cinematic or skip it. You can also replay the Prologue mission starring Mellka if you so desire.

Both features were heavily requested by fans and in a new blog post, Gearbox stated that, “You keep telling us what you’re loving–and what you’re noticing while playing–and with your help, we’ll work hard to keep improving Battleborn. We have a team of people at Gearbox and 2K dedicated to the mission of self-improvement, and [this week’s hotfix] is just one small example of the kinds of things we can quickly fine-tune on the fly.”

Can Gearbox add an update to make the Defense missions not nearly as much of a train wreck as they turn out being? One can certainly hope. What are your thoughts on Battleborn? Let us know in the comments.
