Another short video for Battlefield 1’s single-player campaign has been released by DICE, this one teasing the Avanti Savoia mission. This mission takes place in the Alps as the Italian and Austrian armies battle over a fort. Things are fairly heavy-handed – the clip showcases soldiers in old armour fighting with machine guns. It’s as awesome as it sounds despite the length of the clip.
Avanti Savoia will be a part of the new War Stories, campaign episodes composed of several missions which take players across the globe during World War 1. One such War Story involves teaming with Lawrence of Arabia and fighting of an enemy with superior technology.
In addition to these teasers, EA has announced a livestream schedule for an entire week to showcase Battlefield 1’s multiplayer aspects including the new War Pigeons and Operations mode. You can learn more about the schedule here.
Battlefield 1 is out on October 21st for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Stay tuned for more information on the game in the coming weeks.
