We’ve had multiple looks at Battlefield 1 so far, and we’ve liked what we have seen of the game every single time. We have even gotten to play the game a bit- but so far, all of our hands on and eyes on with Battlefield have been limited to its multiplayer mode. While DICE have previously discussed the game’s single player mode somewhat, we haven’t actually seen anything of it yet yet.
Well, that changes tomorrow. Tomorrow, we will get to have our very first look at the single player modes in Battlefield 1. And while one can be optimistic, and hope that the single player modes buck tradition by actually being worth a damn this time around, I shall continue to be realistic, and note that Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, and Star Wars Battlefront all had terrible single player modes, and expect roughly the same from this new game.
Which will be a shame, given its rich setting, but it is what it is. It’s not like anyone actually plays these games for the single player, anyway.
